Overnight Accommodations – Basecamp 2

Basecamp 2 – Cumberland Mountain State Park

The cabins at Cumberland Mountain State Park transport visitors back in time. With an assortment of cabin types to choose from, we are sure you will find one that fits your needs. The entire park exists as a testament to the beauty and architectural achievements of the Civilian Conservation Corps. Visitors will enjoy the way Byrd Lake forms the central feature of the park. For cabins, call 931-484-6138 and mention BRAT to reserve your cabin!

RV and Tent Camping:

Cumberland Mountain has a combined total of 145 tent and RV campsites with hookups provided. Thirty and 50-amp service and standard 110-volt outlets are available. The Area 4 campsites and bathhouse are not handicap accessible. Handicap accessible sites and bathhouses are available in Camping Areas 1, 2, 3, and 5. In Areas 2, 3, and 5, tents are not allowed on the grass. Picnic tables, grills, and bathhouse facilities are also provided. Seven adults are allowed to camp at each site. Sites may have two tents or one tent and one camper.

Tennessee State Parks campgrounds are pet-friendly, but all pets must be kept on a leash.

Call the visitor center at 931-484-6138 and mention BRAT to reserve your RV or tent campsite!

Free Camping: Riders do not need to make reservations for this. Camping will be located near the basecamp. This is considered primitive camping as there are limited electric outlets, restrooms, and a shower truck.
