1. I sure would appreciate the names of the roads they will using so I can change my route. Your map doesn’t show enough or isn’t detailed enough for those of us who want to avoid getting caught up in this road hazard.

      I’m sorry for the inconvenience and I will certainly pass your request on to race organizers so we can communicate more carefully in the future. We will be riding a loop tomorrow around Cumberland Mountain State Park, and if you click on the Ride With GPS link for that day, you can scroll in and see as much detail as our riders use to navigate, including turn by turn directions and street names. I hope we didn’t hold you up– that’s certainly not our intention. Thank you for your feedback.

2. Today while making my way from Ten Mile, Tn. to Kingston, Tn. using 304 or River Rd. I encounter multiple dangerous situations attempting to make my way around blind curves and hills as a result of between 20-30 cyclist. Some of these cyclist were riding side by side, taking up the entire lane. Not one cyclist acknowledged the cars they were holding up or attempted to move to the edge. I do not mind sharing the road but this was clearly a matter of the cyclist purposely blocking traffic. On top of that River Rd. Is a narrow, winding road with no shoulders. Two lady’s list their lives just two days ago in an accident. Perhaps there are other routes that would be safer for all concerned. Please advise your cyclist that sharing the road goes both ways. After all, they need to realize they are challenging automobiles that out-weigh them many times over. Thank you for your attention in this matter.
